I always thought that plague doctors looked evil…now I know that isn’t the case. They did what they needed to do to help save as many people as they could from the plague.
With COVID rampant in our world, it couldn’t hurt to have your own plague doctor to at least give you hope to survive not only this but everything.
I have always loved this quote from J. R. R. Tolkien so I made this as a companion piece to the Exploration Begins with a Compass pattern that I just recently released.

Well…COVID affected a lot of people and a lot of things including my day job. Going from working in an office to working from home should have been easier but it took a lot of adjustments…and frankly…I’m still not adjusted to working from home for the day job, balancing my business and family life, etc.
But…I finally got a chance to get one of the many images I’m working on converted to a cross stitch pattern and it’s up and ready in my Etsy store.
So I hope this pattern can inspire you to find some adventure in your life and start exploring.

Who doesn’t love a pair of silver bells for the Christmas season? I know I do and these just say happy holidays don’t they?
I really love that you can see the intricate snowflake patterns on the bell, and the silvery snowflakes on the dark blue ribbon.
They look so realistic, you almost can hear them chime!
